2019-20 Breakers 2028/2029 Season Overview

2028 / 2029 Coaches:

Paul Schofield - Coached both girls and boys lacrosse for years at the rec. travel, school and club level (Sky Walkers, Breakers, Kelly Post). Has lead multiple Breakers and Kelly Post teams to league and tournament championships. US Lacrosse certifications in womens and mens game. PCA and CPR certified. Former US Navy Officer. 

Scott Manzo - Goalie and Defensive Specialist. Has extensive experience coaching at the High School, Middle School, Club and Youth Rec Levels (Beth T'Filoh Varsity, Dumbarton Middle School, Mason Dixon Lacrosse Club, Breakers Lacrosse Club, Parkville Rec). Currently, Head coach of boys flag football, basketball and 6th grade lacrosse team at Dumbarton Middle. Boys varsity lacrosse goalie coach at a Friends School of Baltimore. 

Jordan Parker- Assistant Coach. Previously Coached at Coppermine Lacrosse Club.

Spring 2020 Supplemental Tryouts for 2028/2029- Sunday March 1 & Sunday March 8

Spring-Summer Practice: Gilman School and Maryland Fairgrounds

Spring League: HOCO League will start around the first weekend in April and will play 1x per week on Saturdays or Sundays in various locations throughout Howard County.

Summer Tournaments/Camps

June 6-7: Brine Beach Lax Festival (Ocean City, MD)

June 20-21: Summer Getaway (Poolesville, MD)

June 22-24: Breakers Summer Academy (Timonium, MD) 

Fall 2019 Tournaments

Brine Indian Summer: Sunday, October 20 - Jarrettsville Polo Grounds - Jarrettsville, MD

Brine Fall Ball II- Sunday, November 3 - Timonium Fairgrounds- Lutherville, MD

Winter Training (Optional): This will consist of 4 sessions of skills/drills focusing on individual player development. We will bring in outside coaches to work alongside our current Breakers coaching staff to offer their coaching expertise. This is a great opportunity to work on your specific skill development and prepare for the Spring season.   

Season Registration Info

Fee: $1100 per player for the year

Includes: All practices, league/tournament games, coaching fees, shooting shorts, shooting shirts, practice reversible, game uniforms, tryout fees for next year.

Not Included:

Helmets or other items from Breakers team store (optional),  Winter Training (optional), and any additional training opportunities offered throughout the year (recommended, but not required)
