Fall 2019 Performance Training


Breakers Lacrosse Club has partnered with True Sports Physical Therapy and Sweat Performance Training Facility to meet all of our athletes sports rehab, injury prevention, strength, conditioning and athlete training needs. Both groups have an industry-leading track record and share an expansive state-of-the-art facility in Timonium, MD.

We have developed a comprehensive approach to working with our athletes and providing them with best-in-class athletic training services at extremely competitive pricing. The strength, speed and agility portion of the partnership is currently open to 2020 through 2025 players. However, all Breakers athletes will benefit from the injury prevention and consultation aspects of the partnership. The roll out will take place over the following phases:


Breakers Strength, Speed and Agility Program - 2x per week in October @ Sweat Performance

  • Location: 2236 Greenspring Drive, Timonium, MD 21093
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays Starting October 8 th through October 31st
  • 2024's and 2025's: 5:30 - 6:30pm
  • 2021's, 2022's, 2023's: 6:30 - 7:30pm
  • Cost for all 8 sessions: $150 per athlete (significant Breakers introductory discount)

  • Following the October session, families can sign up for one of the many off-season training programs that best fits your schedule and needs.
  • Sweat Performance will host at least one other Breakers-only training month at some point before and/or after the spring season.

Breakers Performance Night - Thursday September 26 @ True Sports / Sweat Performance Facility

  • Location: 2236 Greenspring Drive, Timonium, MD 21093
  • 2024's and 2025's: 5:30 - 6:20pm
  • 2021's, 2022's, 2023's: 6:30 - 7:20pm
  • Agenda:
    • Injury Self-Assessment (True Sports): 20 mins
    • Speed and Strength Experience (Sweat Performance): 20 min
    • Parent/Athlete Q&A to discuss specifics of October training schedule: 10 mins
    • Determine if your athlete can/should be taking extra measures to treat or prevent a specific injury

Injury Prevention Drills and Warmup - Sunday September 22 @ Roland Park Country School

  • This will dovetail with our existing Breakers Sunday practice, so you will just need to arrive 30 minutes or early or stay 30 minutes late after practice (see schedule below).
  • True Sports will lead each team on an age-appropriate warmup/cool down drill that will be adopted in part by the Breakers coaching staff to ensure proper warmups for Breakers practices and games.
  • Players encouraged to use these drills on their own for their personal training activities.
  • Players will meet at the RPCS Gymnasium (through the Upper Field entrance) at the following times:
    • 8:45 to 9:20 - 2023's and 2025's (before practice at 9:30)
    • 9:35 to 10:10 - 2026's and 2021/2022's (after practice ending at 9:30)
    • 10:15 to 10:50 - 2024's, 2027's and 2028/2029's (before practice at 11:00)
  • Please bring your sneakers to practice! Cleats cannot be worn inside RPCS athletic center. 

In addition, True Sports Physical Therapy will offer to Breakers families free email consultation with their trained staff and VIP scheduling for appointments within 48hrs. True Sports will provide ongoing workshops and outreach with Breakers teams and coaches throughout the season.
